Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-7:00pm; Saturday, 10:00am-4:00pm
Criteria for Receiving Services: Women between the ages of 18-49 who are either pregnant or trying to become pregnant are invited to participate in the National Children's Study. Random neighborhoods have been selected in which participants must live. The study is observational and does not provide or replace medical care.
Procedure for Connecting with the Service: Call (435) 797-KIDS (5437) to see if you are eligible or visit our website: cache.ncsutah.org. Participants answer surveys over the phone, the internet or during visits from our research teams.
Fees: None.
Additional Information: Schedules are very flexible and participant's time is compensated. The National Children's Study is the largest long-term study of children's health ever done in the United States. It will help us learn more than we've ever known about how the environment affects children's health and development and will provide a rich resource of information that may ultimately help us improve the health of chidlren for generations to come. Children are part of the study from before birth until the age of 21.
